Great job YPD! Great job Judge. No slap on the wrist for these turds. I would say i'm impressed, but i'd only say that if it remains a consistent thing.

Out of $96 million they get $1.2 million? LOL!!!! I'd be pissed at Uncle Sam, but still happy to have won. More power to them, they'll need it the way Chrysler poops on it's workers.Congrats.

Wow 3-7 years for murder huh? Shot in the back of the head in his home and they got 3-7 years....? Wow! That's what's wrong with society now. Hats off to the lawyers, they did a good job! (sarcasm)I went to school with Dene from elementary till high school, he wasn't a bad guy from what I remember.... Must have started running with the wrong crowd?
Either way 3 families are hurting from this incident. Condolences to Dene's family.

It's good to hear something positive coming out of the South Side for a change. Best wishes to Phil.

@Rokscout-"It's flawed logic and idiotic cop bashing with no merit."
Sorry if your feathers got ruffled, it's called sarcasm.
It comes from seeing things like this happen too often. Not just with the YPD either! They are held to a higher standard and yet the punishment (if any)rountinely is paid absence, being a desk jockey, or just plain old swept under the rug and ignored.
I wonder what type of response you would have had if he decided to blow his entire family away before he went to sleep?
I respect the authorities and give credit where credit is due. I understand the daily sacrifices they make and that is clearly why I stated, " Being an officer of the Law is a mental and emotionally draining job". But if your wrong and you pull some mess like he did, you should be fired and given some counseling. Otherwise you become a danger to your family and anyone you encounter in the line of duty.

Sad, sad, sad...Nothing will happen to this officer. Nothing rarely ever happens to officers who break the law. I mean rare as Haley's Comet! He will protected by the shield and receive a slap on the wrist.
The simple fact is, he never hit her, and he didn't destroy any property. He communicated a threat and scarred his wife and her family in a drunken rage.
Hell, let it had been me and my wife arguing...all I had to do was be too loud and i'd be locked up with no bail facing life!!! Check public records, Officer Craig does have a couple complaints. But, If he gets through this unscathed, he needs to take some time off for counseling and family. Being an officer of the Law is a mental and emotionally draining job, get him some help.
