Look, City Hall is an absolute wreck and an embarrassment to the City and her people, but is this what the City ought to be spending it's money on right now? A capital project that produces no revenue? Public service is a special kind of duty. You take the good with the bad and you grin and bear it for the sake of those whom you serve. If these judges were truly dedicated to serving the public interest they'd hold court in the basement of the YMCA if that is what it took to administer justice. Futher, wasn't Muni Court found in a study last Spring to be grossly overstaffed and grossly inefficient compared to other municipal courts in Ohio?? When will these Youngstown elected officials get it? If it is really that big of a deal to them, then let the judges slap some paint on the walls themselves next Saturday, buy a space heater or two, and redouble their efforts at cutting budgets and maintaining an efficient docket. The power is with the people of the City. Exercise it at the ballot box, please.
I see in the background of the photo that these people also sell the ultra classy Youngstown AK-47 t-shirts. Profiteers at any expense. And they wonder why people keep leaving the City...
As a Valley native, I'm embarrassed by Bertram's most recent blurb. When will The Vindicator stand up and take action? How much longer will management stand idly by while he continues to spew hate and vitriol into the community from one of the Valley's few public sounding boards? The Vindicator owes more to the community it serves.

Seriously, is the Vindicator even relevant anymore? I think not. Talk about a flawed organization.
