That's 84 cats times the $163 per cat that we put into them. We would also like our 3 bottles of Drontal cat returned, those cost $187 per bottle.
We would also like to know exactly happened to each and every cat, and if any were actually adopted out those adoption fees should be returned to our charity, since the cats were our property.
We would also like our office pets - Samaya, Mickie, Savannah, and Little Bug returned to our shelter.
Since there were never any charges filed against the shelter or any of its volunteers Animal Charity has no legal right to keep these things. They certainly had no right to confiscate, sell or destroy our property.
We will keep asking these questions until Animal Charity gives us the courtesy of an answer. If they are in full compliance with the law they should have no trouble either returning what they've stolen from us or compensating us for it.
