Retiring Judge Stuard says government policies changed nature of crime

This is just very sad commentary on the state of Ohio courts today. Here is a supposedly objective jurist spouting his (Republican) political bias on his way out after decades of ruling on the bench--supposedly as a Democrat (nice election strategy). One can only imagine how his politics affected his judicial opinions. So the problem with today's economy is all those unwed black mothers getting welfare checks? Our economic woes have nothing to do with corporate greed, evidenced by Wallstreet, LTV pension grabs, an Iraq war meant to line the pockets of Dick Cheney's Haliburton Company, Bush bluders of millions in cold American dollars sent in crates to the Middle East, or even just baby daddies--white ones in Congress, too ( Joe Walsh)-- not paying child support. Judges in Ohio are not looking like defenders of the law these days. See the Vindy double dippers story, where public servants (including judges) legally collect nearly twice their pay from Ohio taxpayers, who do not have the ability to support such luxury (this is NOT connected to new pension laws, folks), and another story on fighting amongst the judiciary itself in Central Ohio over the very same issue:
