Youngstown is like the slow offspring of the litter. You know you will have to treat them differently and likely coddle them their entire lives. They won't be able to live totally independently and will constantly make egregious mistakes that need to be forgiven. In the end, though, they try hard, and that's all one can ask for from a runt.
The Covelli Centre is still in deep trouble because it is no where near being able to service the debt on the original building price.
I applaud Kasich for helping out an area that predominantly hates him and Mayor Sammarone for realizing where his bread is buttered in this instance.
I hope Schiavoni gets over the sickness that is obviously affecting his brain.
I know, without a doubt, that we are in serious peril. The story above makes no mention of anything political and is quite fact based. It tells the story of a business that cannot meet cash flow obligations.
Yet 90% of the posts resort to kindergarten arguments about which joker was better at being a joke.
There is no room for logic and problem solving in this country anymore. Just two sides acting like children while the children in charge ruin it all.
"I am glad I do not live in Ohio, going by the comments above. I am in California where we have more open minds."
More state debt, more illegal aliens, more illegal aliens in prison, more gangs, more state fraud, and more liberal processes than anyone else.
That's why your state will be the first to crumble and be bailed out by the federal government. It's coming. Have fun while your quasi-utopia lasts. I'll be working hard to make sure there's enough federal tax dollars to fund your bail out. It's hard to live in reality, I know, but your "open mind" affords you the freedom to escape reality.
The state constituton mandates that the governor fill the position if/when the judge retires. This is not up for debate unless the legislature changes the constitution.
Speculating on whether or not the need is there or if there will be restructuring is moot.

Most of the constituents that Biden was trying to reach don't read the newspaper or anything else except a sentence or two on a website. When you are part of the political base of a candidate you probably despise reading because of all the words. These people are more inclined to watch Jerry Springer or Entertainment Tonight, hence Super Joe on the TV pitch.

Ryan, Sammarone to formally open 82-unit YMHA apartments Tuesday
The facts don't lie. When people have nothing at stake and get everything free they'll destroy it like the animals they are.
Ever see any really upstanding and nice Section 8s? No, becasue when they ruin those whitey will just build new ones.

Betras gives Kasich a reason to keep city judgeship vacant
The legislature has to act before anything is final anyway. The governor does not make laws and change the Ohio Constitution.
Betras should know that and aim his requests at the legislature.
Also, Betras will be happy to represent any dog bite victims. His commercials during Jerry Springer appeal to the most modest of audiences.
