For every Corner Hustler that gets popped, there are 3 more waiting to take his place! Thats just the way the game goes... Just like Rico said in Paid in Full..Half of these kids wanna be the man, just cause...One day Youngstown will realize how to slow down the drugs, cuz the war on drugs will never be won..that's just a fact...I am surprised though, most busts in the area as of late, have been of low level users, and small time street hustlers. The big cats, as in any city, are too connected to local LEO to ever get popped...
People do not choose to become alcoholics, or addicts. Thats is something to be said from someone who has never been, or had a family member in that situation!! We do not know why he had the problems that he had, and regardless, if someone has cancer, do we let them sit in a room with no treatment, and suffer? Alcoholism, and addiction, are diseases, and should be treated accordingly!!
Prayers are with the family, and I hope they (trumbull co.) PAYS for what they have done, or excuse me, not done! NO ONE should have to suffer in jail, just because they are an addict or alcoholic!! I'd like to see that DR be medically addicted to something, then forced to Cold Turkey Withdrawl in a turtle suit, with no help at all!!! SHAME on our society for letting a human being SUFFER to DEATH!!!
I agree, I hope the family wins!! The Trumbull county jail, and especially, the DR. are a joke! It is sad when someone goes to jail, has a drug or alcohol problem, and the way they make you de-tox, is by claiming you are a "58" (suicide watch) and giving you no meds, and no help at all! I thought doctors, even prison/jail DRs, had to take an oath...The oath in jail, is, if oyu are an alcoholic, or addict, you suffer and de-tox on your own!!

Suit over jail ordeal alleges civil-rights violations, wrongful death
