P.S. I know that the levy was for the whole school system, however Fitch has taken the most blows from both the previous failures and the current failure of the levy. If you mean by saying "cut the fat" to cut more teachers your being quite ridiculous. As of last year 12 teachers have been cut. Since then classes have become more crowded and teachers don't have the ability to efficiently help all students who require help. And I find that unfair.
Okay, first off, as far as I know, there aren't any teachers within Fitch High School that babysit. All staff members here at Fitch have a job that they obviously do. Fitch High School has been designated Excellent for multiple years now. Unless you yourself are a teacher or student in any of the schools you have no right to judge what the teachers do. I would like you to go to college for years on end and then come and spend time trying to pass on that education to children and young adults. Until then your being quite ignorant by saying that some teachers don't do anything.
I, a student from Fitch High School, am highly upset with the fact that the levy did not pass. Due to the selfishness of our community members our school no longer has sufficient funds to continue with what they have been doing. I have heard rumors around the school from both teachers and students stating that multiple things will be taken out of are curriculum and extra curricular activities. I am involved in both honors classes and in multiple sports which have been rumored to be removed. My privilege of being in honors classes should not be taken away. I also should not have to pay money to participate in sports. Also, though I do not ride the bus, my younger sister does and I don't find it safe for her to be walking to school everyday. According to teachers around Fitch busing with be removed after Christmas and quite honestly that would be horrible. Already it has begun to snow in October. Imagine how bad it will be in late December for those students who have to walk.

On 4th try, Youngstown school levy passes
