Those of us who are unemployed, through no fault of our own, would kill for a job like these...and would do it right. But because we don't kiss up to the power of either party, we have ZERO chance of ever proving that.

I don't care about the "football coach" part of it. I care about the lack of qualification for the job, and the dictatorial practices of the former Director of Athletics.

While you are at it, why not question the Youngstown-hating Ditzler, and other Austintown politicians, as to why they see it necessary to put their campaign signs on the front yards of citizens on the YOUNGSTOWN side of Meridian Road?

Mr. Ditzler, you are a typical two-faced politician, you bash Youngstown, and whip your residents into a frenzy over non-existent plans to annex your township, thereby ruining Mayor Williams attempts to secure JEDD money, and jobs for the area, but then you play nicey-nice with it's citizens to further your political gains. What a piece of work you are!

Just what we need for YSU...an egomaniac with a thirst for power and control...someone who ran the Athletic Department with an iron fist.

Saint Tressel needs to do what his fellow Republicans want him to do...run for state office...THEN he can ignore us like the rest.

What on earth is The Vindicator doing, carrying a story from a columnist employed by The Akron Beacon Journal?

Don't we have anyone who could write this story? Or, are we too worried about what is going on at a Division V high schooll football program?

I am all for the libraries.

I am all against the Board of the Mahoning County Library system, and it's misuse of funds.

They have built new "palaces" and let existing branches, mostly in the city, rot to the point of closure. This misue of funds is CRIMINAL, and they should be held accountable.

$8.50 - $12.50?!? You've got to be kidding! For glorified high school all-star hockey?!?

I went to the Steelhound games for $10.00...for this stuff $4.00 or $5.00 maybe...but $8.50? To paraphrase..."no way, no how, no Phantoms."
