Valley native paves the way

This is not the first electric car to be marketed by GM... Anyone happen to ask him about the EV-1: The electric vehicle produced by GM in 1996 & quickly gained acceptance due to its technology. Unfortunately, GM decided to end the life of EV-1,collected them all up after the leases ended and crushed them all after lobbying to get the California emission laws changed. (even while promoting it). They wasted tons of money developing, marketing, and doing all they could to destroy them. They don't deserve my federal stimulus bailout money to market something they aready created and destroyed.

Who Killed the Electric Car? (2006)"In 1996, electric cars began to appear on roads all over California. They were quiet and fast, produced no exhaust and ran without gasoline...........Ten years later, these cars were destroyed." -imdb.com
