This isn't a problem. It's merely logic that has to be applied. Big Ben is out until mid-October. Leftwich has played some last season. Dennis Dickson is in his 2nd year and has been learning, but there is no real reason (like injury) to rush to play him. Dixon would benefit from getting a few reps in practice and maybe get a few plays in exhibition ball. Batch is really getting too old to play, but he'd be available in a "pinch". Leftwich played in the Super Bowl season with the understanding he was a backup. So, he gets told this again. Backup. He starts for Ben and after Ben's suspension is up he drops to 2nd, Dixon 3rd. Charlie really ought to be a QB coach somewhere by now. He'd be good at it and should be considered for 2011 (if there's a season) for the job either in the Burgh or in his hometown of Detroit.
In 2011 let Dixon and Leftwich decide it in camp for #2 & #3.
What's wrong with having 3 useful QB's on a team? Any one of the three can go down during the season. Ben got to start during his rookie season when the starter got his bell rung in a game. Was it good for him? I don't think so; he tried to win games by himself from his first year. When Batch got hurt, there was consternation again. And now Batch should be odd man out. A more drastic solution would be to get rid of Batch at the end of training camp. And if worse came to worse, I'd lean to that option.
Punishment could range from a report criticizing his conduct to a reprimand or censure by the House, or a vote to expel him — which is highly unlikely. Any agreement would have to be approved by Rangel and ethics committee members.
With the Congress(sic) we have now, look for him to get the following: A profound apology from the House and Ms Pelosi for having bothered him over this trivial matter; a congratulations from the Dalai Bama; a return to his former committee and nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. It's only fitting, since the Congressman fought in Korea.
Somehow I'm puzzled. Here I thought the American people in his constituency, sought to reward him by sending him to Congress and placing their trust in him.
They will all walk! Convicted and PUNISHED in this Democrat valley? NEVER! Convicted? Yes. But their "sentences" will no doubt include house arrest with "monitoring", reductions for time served, and their public service records will be taken into "account". Probably the sentences will be 30 days with time off for good behaviour, previous time served, hardship and such. The net result will be they skate on this.
Now if they were Republicans, the lynch mobs would be out in full force. The leftist propagandists would be working overtime and every sin of Bush, Reagan and Nixon would be trotted out and gone over, not that they were without any. They screwed up, too. But not like this!
The investigation into the debacle of the Panera-Chevy Center ought to be next. But with the one party rule of this valley, it ain't gonna happen.
The same kind of spying went on 50-60 years ago on the old "land-line" phones. Many people had 2, 3, or 4 Party lines; this meant sharing their line. Often, someone on the party line would pick up their phone and listen in on the current conversation. It was easy for the neighborhood gossips to pass the latest "dirt" along about those phone subscribers.
These "smart" phones are real progress. Before, you only had to worry about those on the party line learning your personal business. Now, EVERYBODY can learn even more about a user. On the old land-lines, it wasn't always a sure thing to find out who was who, but with these "smart" phones, they got you pegged.
No, we need more Sotomayers and Kagans to "feel" sorry for the "injustices" done and (how ironic) "Right" them-no, on second thought, to "Left" them. In fact anyone ashamed of our American past ought never to be elected, the more so if they are Ivy Leaguers, who are the point squad in the movement to contact with their enemy (the 47% who voted against the Dalai Bama PLUS the uncounted ones who didn't like either candidate).
The Roman Empire lasted from around 740 BC to about 450 AD. Our nation seems to have lasted from 1789 to 2008. In our day, we overthrew slavery in a bloody civil war and saved Europe's butt twice and Asia's nations from the Great East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. We rebuilt nations we helped destroy on the way to getting rid of tyrants. While we solely held nuclear weapons, we used them to end a horrible war against an enemy who's code of Bushido, neither accepted nor permitted surrender. While we would have used them if necessary, we looked for ways NOT to use them. When world wide disasters have struck, this "evil" America donated food and money to help out.
Match that record for greatness against some of the Socialist nations who adopted belligerent policies against their weak neighbors OR used our military might to protect them while they spent money on their own domestic programs. They are only a shadow of what we were!
Anytime I hear "one world" philosphy being spouted from economists, historians, commerce "experts" and politicians, my blood boils. Such speakers remind me of another "American" who started out okay, but ended up wrong. Benedict Arnold died in London, 1801, despised by Americans the British he sold out to. Will the current leaders of socialist countries "love" those who have torpedoed this nation?

Yup! The whole shebang is gonna walk. Somewhere, the FIX is in. You can feel it in the bones.
Nothing ever changes around here.

Did I read this right?

Two men charged in murder ask for lower bonds
Does this mean they got some witnesses to get rid of and need to get back out on the street?
Just askin'.

If all police are racists and not to be trusted, the next time we're in trouble,
should we call for help from Al Quaida instead?
