Would you be interested in buying a diesel Cruze?

I personally would not purchase a diesel but I'm sure there is a market for it.

Instead of pushing all these expensive "green" vehicles that "save money", we should look into Nat Gas,=. Natural gas makes more sense to develop, particularly in the near term. Nat Gas costs roughly half of what gasoline costs per gallon. Cars would cost much less than electric and hybrid cars, and you can fill it at home with a home filling station. The only thing missing is gas stations for filling up on the go, subsidize that.

USPS on verge of collapse, postmaster general warns

Why don't they try delivery every other day?

They pick up garbage once a week from my house, but they deliver it 6 times. Doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't make sense in a world where mail has turned into nothing more than birthday cards, advertising, and netflix movies.

Clarett sentenced to 4 years on drug charges

"Ingram also noted that Clarett managed to obtain his G.E.D. after dropping out of school and has battled substance abuse."

Is this before or after OSU? How did he even get in if he didn't have a GED or HSD?

YSU faculty calls off strike

I have a lot of respect for the decision not to strike. An excellent move and it shows that the faculty's interests are with the students and not only with themselves.

I hope YSU also takes the position of putting the students first before its own interests.

Rising cost of supplies puts parents in a school daze

peacelover, I went to public schools not too long ago and I would say what you have are 1. Extremely discouraged teachers. 2. Very bad students who do not need to be in school.

That's why I think that if kids don't want to be there to learn then let them drop out. If you aren't going to even try, why should you bring down those that do.

Rising cost of supplies puts parents in a school daze

Funny that these kids are required to purchase all of these new calculators, paper towels, and all of this stuff. I just graduated and I got by on a 15 dollar ti-83 off of ebay; granted books were expensive but you could find ways around it usually.

I don't remember ever having to bring hand sanitizer to school; what in the world.

Toasting an undeniable downtown surge

There has been a huge turnaround for downtown. Although, I would argue that parking is pretty bad down there. It's very shady still compared to places like austintown or boardman.

GM to halve number of vehicle frames to cut costs

Good move for GM as this will help them remain competitive with other car makes.

Although, I believe this is bad for people who like cars because you'll see automakers trying to pass off something designed to be a high volume mid-level car as a sporty/luxury car. Granted there are plenty examples of this working and some of it not working... but it's hard to get people excited about something that is just a dressed up Chevy or your mom's Toyota.

Postal changes bad for customers

Could I stand for the consolidation.

The postal service is a dying business and people no longer demand the same type of service as they did before. Changes need to be made and money needs to be saved.

STOCK MARKET FINAL: Dow closes with 635 point loss; among worst trading days ever

The United States will always meet its obligations as it has the ability to print money. This is a rating on the long term US dollar.
