How sad for this dog to have died this way, but lucky for him you gave him in comfort in his time of need. I know that must have been so hard for you, as I am an animal lover myself and know how heartbreaking it is to see any animal suffering. So glad we have these brave and inspiring people to create these organizations to aid in the protection of animal abuse and cruelty. Every living, breathing, and especially HEARTBEATING animal deserves a chance at life. You can't mistreat an animal for what they were not taught. I call every day, email everyday, and have sent several letters/cards to our senators and representatives explaining how important it is to protect our loving companions and urge them to push Nitro's Law for a vote. The outdated legislation in Ohio is embarrassing for the state of Ohio, but especially when you are a resident of Ohio. To be part of a state where it takes an animal abuse law three years to pass is an abomination, and makes me feel like my senators and representatives have no heart or soul when it comes to compassion towards an animal.
