Yesterday I made my mind up to go to the doctor today. In I walk and two retired Catholic priests are sitting in the waiting room. The one was on his way in to see the doctor. I felt like asking the one left in the waiting room if his friend had an STD. I did not and began a conversation with him on and about the hidden abuse of children.

The response by the priest was that "The abuse of children goes back to the Roman days" when it was (acceptable) and that it still goes on in the Orient. The conversation only went down hill at that point!

They are so blind and mislead by the Bishops and Cardinals it makes me sick.

He tried to say it was the sexual revolution that promoted child abuse. I said that was not the case and that it's been deeply ingrained in the Catholic Church since 308 and he was squirming in his seat with his Irish accent.

I asked him if he read the Ryan report and the conversation ended. He did pay to much attention to my Daughter.

He asked what religion I was and I said that was a personal question and that he he did not know me good enough to ask such a question!
