Man to be charged for urinating on Modell’s grave

Freedom of speech allows you to dip a crucifix in urine and call it art. If you urinate on the grave of Art you are subject to arrest.

In a video posted to YouTube this month under the username “BrownsFan4Life,” a man taped himself removing a Ravens jersey to reveal a Cleveland Browns jersey and then appeared to urinate out of the bottom of his pants leg using a catheter and a tube on Modell’s grave. Modell and his late wife, Patricia, were buried together at Druid Ridge Cemetery…

The man will be charged with indecent or disorderly conduct in a cemetery, a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum sentence of two years in jail and a $500 fine, the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

Valley blacks bash Dem Chairman Dave Betras

The blacks want their mayor in office. Their interests are better served with one of their own. Far too many black families in Youngstown are suffering for various reasons the most prominent of which is economic. Betras has drawn the battle lines and the black community is not going to back down. Like it or not they feel that Kitchen can better relate to their plight. They are not going to support one not of their choosing.

4 Valley ministers share how MLK changed their lives

Published: Tue, April 8, 2008 @ 12:00 a.m.

Forty years ago this week, National Guard tanks rumbled onto the streets of Youngstown to quell rioting fueled by rage over the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Angry loose-knit gangs of young people set buildings afire, turned over cars, fought and fired indiscriminately at law enforcers.

The man who killed the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was captured and jailed. The riots ended and life proceeded in a new direction.

Today far too many are out of work. The family unit has disintergrated. Drugs are plentiful. The prisons are filling up fast. A man of vision needs to arise and change this scenario.
