Parishioners pray for suspect

I truly hope they have the right person. If you want to read more about this person, see his photos, the type of person he is, and the things that are his center of motivation, then go to My Space and do a search under his name(s). Youngstown has a real problem (as do most major cities in America) with subcultural gangs. These gangs need to be squelched by drastic means; either full police action, military involvement or Federal force. Obviously this person is a racist and is so full of hate for other cultures, but he's only one of so many black racists in America. Racism which used to be a "blanket term" for whites against blacks, but it now belongs to the Black community!! So much for change.

Keeping faith amid fear

This is an absolute travesty and Youngstown IS in trouble! First, my condolences to the family and friends of this fine lady. There are no words to ease your pain or make sense of this horrendous act of barbaric behavior. Next, the Mayor needs to do something and do it fast! He should contact the State Governor and request that the Guard be brought in for help. This kind of crime is only an example of what is in store for your city, and needs to be stopped before it's too late. Years ago in the '70s there were riots on the East Side of Youngstown. The Mayor at that time, called in the militia and curfews were set, military was controlling the streets and law and order was brought back to the city. Your police force can not handle this (they are outnumbered) and the individuals who do these acts of cowardice are soul-less beings without a conscience or sense of reason. You need to press your officials to go higher for help. If the state won't step in to clean up the city, then go Federal, because these criminals are local terrorists and that's what Homeland Security is all about. Although it's not "PC" (who cares), God grant peace to the Fimognari family, watch over the citizens of Youngstown and help to shine a light on the perpetrator so justice can be served swiftly, and to the fullest extent of the law.
