Shame on the vandal

Thomas... While you are definitely right to speak your opinion, please get the facts right next time. You have no idea how incorrect your paragraph regarding John Edwards is compared to what he has accomplished.

John Edwards filed suit against CORPORATIONS and DOCTORS who blatantly overlooked safety issues with their products or improperly performed operations on certain individuals, respectively. Why would I know this? Because my family was one of those who was sued by Edwards. Therefore, you would assume that I do NOT back Edwards; however, you would be wrong. Every case this man tried and won because it was "just" for those involved. He is not an ambulance chaser, but rather, a person who is passionate to see that justice is served for those who can't defend themselves.

Another point.. I'm not sure where you get your 40% figure, but ALL money won in his cases was used by Mr. Edwards to open his own Center for Poverty in the great city of Chapel Hill, NC. Many in my community here have volunteered their time to work with the poor and homeless to see that they are taken care of through this Center. For you to suggest that Edwards took his earnings as a lawyer and spent it on a campaign and a mansion is beyond a lie, it's flat wrong.

If your worst attack on John is that he built a mansion and still fights for the poor, you have to laugh at only yourself. What Democrat or Republican candidate isn't rich? Which candidate doesn't have a mansion? Which candidate doesn't take money from those who want to donate to their campaign? If you ask me, you're trying to make a point without proper justification.

I don't understand how you being in Youngstown, OH can even make such false claims against John Edwards when those who are North Carolinians know a completely different person than you claim to portray.

Here's a tip... I won't comment on Ohio politicians because I don't know them. To label yourself as not being a fan of Democrats without even knowing the candidates is what wrong with this country. People like you align yourself with a certain belief, spout it off in some article like this, and people actually people you. How about we all try and work together instead of not being a "fan" of others who live in our same neighborhoods. This will do no good to bring our country together and fight for those who truly need help.
