Who in their right mind would put a casino in the dump that is the Mahoning Valley? Who in their right mind would travel out to that dump of an area to spend money?

Newsflash you clueless wonders - they will put casinos where there are also other things to do. Have you been in Youngstown lately? There isnt anything to do, ever. You can go to a crappy chain restaurant or go to a bar, thats about it. You dont want casinos in Ohio becuase your crappy area wasnt getting one? Boo hoo for you. You shouldnt get a dime. You'll just squander it anyway. What a bunch of selfish people - 'Oh boo hoo, we wont get a casino, so no one should get one!'. Get over it, whiners.

Ahhhh yes, more corrupt BS from the clowns in office there. How's all the 'change' you voted for coming along there? City ran from the black into the red within 2 years by this regime. Nice job there, Einsteins.

BSL aside, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE MORONIC COPS IN THAT GODFORSAKEN CITY??????? There is no need whatsoever to shoot a dog that many times, especially when it has a) already been shot and b) it is running away and trying to hide.

To do what they did is disgusting and they should be punished. Take their firearms because they are clearly a bit too overeager to use them.

And please spare me the 'Oh they were just doing their jobs' crap. How much do you want to bet there were at least 15 drug deals going on within 1 square mile of where this happened - and they couldnt care less about that. They had to go out at 3am and hunt down dogs, then shoot them an inordinate amount of times.

That city and it's so-called 'safety force' disgusts me. I left 15 years ago and from what I read on here (and from what I see when I go back to visit my family), there is no reason on this planet to move back to that dump.

Coming back making $15/hour instead of $29/hour is better than not having a job to come back to at all.

Petty? I think not. When Im having trouble reading someone's post because they are making no sense - due to tons of spelling, grammatical, & sentencen structure errors - I will point it out. If she has something to contribute, she could at least do so in a coherent fashion so the rest of us can read AND understand her point of view.

People correcting people on a message board arent the problem in Youngstown. It's laziness, ignorance, and a sense of entitlement that are the real problems.

Omg, That was the longest run-on sentence and paragraph in the history of the universe. Sounds like this entire family has severe issues.

Really, is it that hard to stay a safe distance behind the car in front of you on local roads? There is no reason to tailgate.

There are just too many holes in the story provided by the YPD. They have made themselves easy targets for criticism by not revealing the facts - the 'facts' they provided do not add up at all and are likely fabricated stories to cover their a$$es. I stand by my opinion that while the cop may have needed to use some force on the dog, shooting 13 times is clearly excessive and he is either a lousy shot, he is a typical cop with a napoleon complex and an attitude, or a combination of the 2. The family involved isnt innocent either, but they didnt deserve to watch their dog get blown to bits in front of them by a half wit wearing a badge.

SHould he have shot at a dog coming at him? Maybe. SHould he have shot 13 times? Absolutely not. One or two would have been enough to stop a dog that size. If he truly felt threatened, thats all he needed to do. Sounds to me like a big fat lie out of yet another moronic cop in Youngstown.

13 shots to kill a 42 lb dog? I cant wait to see what happens when a real vicious dog - not a puppy- rushes at the cops. They might need an AK-47 to take care of that one. Typical behavior by the useless cops in Youngstown. What a joke.
