SB5 will do nothing to help with our budget woes, period. What we need is tax reform. Let's get a real tax code that's simple, easy, and impossible to cheat. Institute a !5% flat tax on all earnings over $25K, no loopholes, no deductions, no Corp. tax abatement s.
I'll bet that within ten years, we will all be out of the red..
Hold on to your wallets, property owners! 50% cuts to the county's general fund over the next 2 years will have to be made up with increased taxes on the county level.
No smoke and mirrors Kasich says. I didn't raise taxes. No, but he is shifting the blame onto the counties of Ohio. The poorest counties will be hurt the worst.
If all of the multi-million dollar corporations doing business in Ohio would pay their fair share of taxes, rather than getting tax abatements, or tax credits for a miriad of reasons, Ohio's tax coffers would be overflowing with cash.
Stop picking on Joe middle-class union worker, and go after the real demons..

Republicans smell blood in the Valley
With all the anti-worker legislation the republicans are pushing, I feel a strong wave of both Dems and Unions sweeping this state, and country.
