What a wonderful way to remember a loved one. People are still good and caring. I lost my husband 5 1/2 years ago and know the pain. We rode bikes for years and it is a healing thing. God bless!
This was our first time at the festival and we loved the food. My favorites are the stuffed grape leaves, Greek lasgna & braided cookies. Yummy!! Will surely be back next year.
God bless this wonderful family. They are an inspiration. When my husband passed away suddenly, I wasn't sure what to do about donation. I made the decision to donate his corneas. I pray for the person who recieved them.
About 3 yrs ago my 16 yr. old dog was attacked & killed by a loose pit bull on my front porch. The dogs were fighting when the police arrived. They sprayed them with pepper spray but it didn't help. Finally I screamed for them to do something and they did shoot the pit. My poor dog fought for his life & lost it. More needs to be done about violent dogs. What if it had been my daughter or myself attacked. Dog Warden never came.
In 1986 the Lincoln Knolls Plaza was a very nice and safe place. I live in Campbell and would never have taken my children to an area where their safety would be a concern. I don't feel trapped in Campbell. I choose to live here and have done so for over 20 yrs. We have never had a real problem and have fantastic neighbors. I feel sorry for people who are fearful of everything different from their own lives.
I can understand that budget cuts can hinder some things but this is not about budget or any financial situation. This is about human beings and the compassion that the families of the deceased deserve. I say Dr. Kennedy needs to be in another line of work.
This is so very sad. My mother grew up in Campbell (I always used the p and b)as well as myself, brother, sisters and cousins, my husband and our children. People here never seemed to have any pride even tho there are more good people than bad here. Everyone runs away instead of trying to make things better. When my husband coached our daughters' softball teams it was great. I think a little prayer to our Maker is in order.
