OMG...what kind of person could intentionally drive into a group of people and keep going....I hope they find the person responsible...so sad that so many young people injured, while paying respects to a friend.
If someone has a cc and has several guns and they are registered and puts one in a briefcase and believes it is secure in his trunk or closet and his sig other does not know it has the gun in there, and innocently brings the case to the airport because they have a computer or ipad or work information in the bag, and puts it on the conveyor, then it is a mistake...not an intentional act of whatever...People....those of you throwing stones, I would like to meet you..as perfect as you are, maybe you can give the rest of us, that do occasionally make mistakes or have accidents, some pointers on how you got so perfect and how you have never had an accident or made an error...remember...I know of someone who did have the same thing happen and it was simply an error. Both people involved are not suffering from dementia..they are not irresponsible...they had an event happen that neither of them expected, maybe due to lack of communication, but not stupidity. Those of you who have never made a mistake and throwing stones...someday, a simple mistake COULD happen to you and I hope you are given more support than you are willing to give.
Absolutely can and does happen. I know of another couple from Youngstown who it happened to. He had a gun and a carry permit. He put his gun in a black briefcase bag and put it in the trunk and when he got to airport his girlfriend accidently grabbed the bag with her bags and went thru security with it..same thing...he said he would not attempt to take a gun on the plane...no one with any intelligence would just intentionally put a gun in their bag and put it on the conveyor to go thru the screening... they would try to hide it if they were attempting to do harm....remember ...as you all would like to be treated...innocent unless proven guilty. Don't judge as one day, you may be in a position of being judged.
Please....can't anyone help this family???? They are a loving, hard working family and they have tried and tried to do the right thing and trusted the attorney they had to do the right thing and she didn't...now this family has had to go thru something no family should have to go thru in this country! Does anyone have any suggestions as to who we can contact to get this out to someone who has a bigger voice than we do that can get this story out and get it to someone who can help? I am proud to call Chip and his family my friends and neighbors!! Please get this story out there and if you have any suggestions as to who can help...please let the family know!!! Thank you, Marie
Chip and his family are an asset to our community and our country. I know them very well. They are law abiding, pay taxes, and are educated and hold jobs. This is a shame that they were trusting of an attorney that messed up and it has cost them their life savings, their family has been devastated and an innocent young man has been behind bars for almost a year. Their previous attorney kept taking their money and telling them she was handeling everything and they trusted her. I hope that someone out there has the guts and knowledge to help Chip and his family...they need support..not negative comments from people that have no idea of the ordeal they have been thru this past year! They are a wonderful, loving close family and I am proud to call them my friends and neighbors!
