What a waste of police time and now the parents money when they have to get an attorney. What detective or police dog solved this crime. Maybe they can track the dog that keeps using my yard.
I think we need a guarantee that if the taxpayers vote to pass the levy the fire stations stay open and staffed and we finally get the ambulance service from the fire department. My fear is that we will be asked again in 18 months to pony up more money. Between library, last 2.2 mil levy for police and fire? not sure what happened with that money, and now 3.85 mil - I am looking at an extra $600 a year taxes. We should eliminate the sales tax for the WRTA when it comes up or is that permanent?
A friend that always questions how our government spends tax dollars suggested I look at this blog. I am really surprised about the nasty tone that is being use. Can we just get down to facts? Has the leadership of Boardman done everything they can to control costs? They should post documents or spread sheets here that identify every reduction they have made in the last few years for all items in the budget. Until then, why would anyone want to just hand over more money. Of course, we all want to be "united against crime" but what is the trade off? Other than the people that don't pay their rent, trash the rental housing and shoplift, I do not see any increase in crime? What am I missing in this how discussion?

Goal: Keep fire stations open
"They lied to us. And we’re only five days into their administration,” Wolfe said."
That would be Calhoun, Moliterno, and Costello?
