I wrote that obit. It is very obvious you are spouting off. Rich had some problems no one denys that. He really tried hard to get the help he needed. The system failed him over and over. As for him being loving. You bet he was. There is a difference between a person and their actions. He did make some bad choices the last few years of his life...but there was 38 years prior to that. His daughter seems to have a different take on what happened that night....judge ye be judged. And yes Kourtney did steal from Rich and Jerry did owe Rich money. Rich paid for Kourtney to go to rehab the first time. FOr such a bad man ha...he was the first to offer Kourtney help. Get real.If you dont have facts that you can back up shut up.
and by the way...everyone is so concerned about the badge??? It was a fop courtesy badge attached to his plate. Anyone that knew rich well enough...also would know that. And as for the transfers to a different court. Nothing unusual about that. An attorney and acting Judge that work together can not hear the same case, therefore it is transfered to a different court due to conflict of interest. There was no wrong doing or paying off in the court system. Take the time and read through the dockets..He paid the price for what he was involved in. The otheres were dismissed because there was PROOF against the charges. Everyone needs to stop bashing and have compassion for the families. Anyone of us at any point in time can be hit with depression and lead us sown a road similar to this. Get a book on depression and addiction. Learn about this illness before you run your mouths. I am sure you wouod noit like your family members to be bashed this way. Rich was a human being. He was loved, just as anyone else. He was a friend, husband, father, brother, uncle...If you are bashing you are not close enough to the situation to know all the facts...it is sad for all involved .
