While I agree a number of people of the inner city cause most of the problems, a greater majority in the city want the same life those of you who live in the suburbs enjoy: safe, clean, liveable neighborhoods. Because of economic decline, predatory lending and governmental policies which leave neighborhood blight and lack of employment opportunity, many who live in the inner city have limited options. Do not punish the store owners who do provide a service to those in the community with limited access to other vendors. Focus on dealing with criminals, stemming urban blight, and building job opportunities to build a tax base for the city. And for those of you who sucked the city dry while running to the suburbs may it come back to haunt you.
