Hagan falls flat on face — book, that is

How is this article about unions? Not once did the article bring up unions or Governor Kasich or Senate Bill 5. You are on this forum to push your own agenda. It makes me want to see the bill fail even more.

LeBron booed at ESPY Awards

He may have every right to play where he wants, but fans have every right to hold him to the guarantees of a championship he gave cleveland and his image of being a loyal person. He does owe Cavs fans, they are the ones who paid to watch him play, bought his jerseys, drank what he told them to, wore what he wanted them to. He built a fan base and then turned on them. Cavs fans have every right to be ticked at Lebron.

Ex-football player for YSU pleads guilty to 9 drug counts scharges

Nunya, do you actually talk like that? You managed to make a large vocabulary look stupid. It was like you kept all of your word of the day calender days in a drawer and threw them randomly in that comment. You're being boring, stop boring everyone.

Landlords object to plan for fees

If I were a landlord in Campbell and this fee started I would raise my rent to cover the charge. $1000 is a lot of money, the rental house I own gives me a profit of $100 a month, when there are no repairs. Or I would sell the house, then we will see how many people are interested in living in Campbell. I'm willing to bet the people who rent houses in Campbell couldn't pass a credit check, but the city will lend them the money. Sounds like a terrible idea.

There are dozens of things to evaluate a teacher on beyond the scores of standardized tests

There is a big difference between Youngstown city schools and Canfield school district. Do you really feel that teachers from those two districts salaries should be determined from the same test. Teachers go into their field knowing the pay scale, they want to make a difference, they want to teach children. If you don't see a growing lack of parental involvement, then you aren't looking hard enough, or in the right places. Not every child wants to learn, and not every parent places importance on education. Teachers do get not-rehired, and do get put on notice by principals, board of eds, and others. There is too much blame being thrown around, try some self-improvement for once.

Utility turns off mandate on bulbs

Why, because they don't think like normal human beings, they think like bureaucrats. everything has to be filled out in triplicate, discussed in meetings, and then they have to pat each other and themselves on the back until their arms are sore for programs that don't work in real life. I can't believe such a stupid idea worked in LA. Yes, a coupon program, like I heard other power companies did. All of the groups named in the article let this happen, it took the media to get this stopped.

Don’t look for me to tweet any time soon

Bradley,
I was just reading Peter King on SI and he said you have a possible season ending knee injury. He did say that you are an impressive rookie corner, but also said the bad news. So sorry to hear about it. Hoping you get everything back on track soon. Best of luck.

OSU’s rushing attack grounded

Putting McDonald in your post shows how stupid you are. Ohio State is the 11th best Division I team in the country. They lost to the number 3 team by less than a touchdown. Tressel changes his gameplan weekly and changes his offense yearly. Maybe you should pick another team, like USC, Pete Carroll seems like your kind of coach. I'll stick with Coach Tressel and his 1 national championship, 3 championship games, numerous big ten titles, perennial top 10 team, and owning michigan. A sophomore QB, running back, center, replacing a top rated defense. You've been spoiled, man up and take the loss, don't cry like a baby because OSU lost to USC.

Cut-down day was tough

I enjoy reading about your experiences in the NFL. You are doing a good job on the blog, and making the cut is impressive. Just wanted to let you know I will be watching and rooting for you this season. Congratulations on making the team and fulfilling one of your goals.

‘It is what it is’ isn’t an answer (at least not a good one)

What is your plan to change things? Move to Annapolis? You don't like the way things are in Youngstown so you write a letter to the editor of the Vindy. Things here are tough, it is what it is, if you don't like it your choices are try to change it or run, you ran out on Youngstown, and now you want to throw stones from Annapolis.
