GM is a private union, folks. They don't take taxpayer money to fund their salaries or pensions. It's the public unions that needed tweaked (not destroyed like you presume)
And it's good that these jobs are going along in this area, really great to see. Hopefully it continues. The V&M Star spinoff isn't done creating jobs yet so we could see more good news in this area
I was just recently hired at V&M earlier in the year and just to be clear, Vallourec built the plant in Ytown because itof its proximity to the Marcellus shale and its customers. Also because of expertise of the workforce. Williams, Obama, Strickland, Ryan etc had nothing to do with it whatsoever. $20 million stimulus was used, but the project was goingforward either way.
