Oh I didn't mean to imply that you (or leaveusalone) were atheists, just that trying to open a closed mind is very difficult. The atheist remark is only my opinion.
But your posts are very well stated. I just wish there were more believers like you, and a lot few of the "holier than thou" folks who are posting here.
Stan, I think perhaps a passage from your own bible is appropriate here:
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. 6 ΒΆ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Ah, but the cost of having a child most certainly can fall to society. Look at all the single mothers out there on welfare. Do you forget who is funding them?
Some of you need to get over the whole "sex is evil, pregnancy is punishment" bit.
I always thought Christianity taught tolerance. Some Christians here seem to need a remedial lesson not only in history, but also in their own religion.
If this were my child, I would be most proud of her for standing up (or not standing up in this case) for what she believes.
I think the bigger issue here is that, in the 21st century, there are still people who believe in satan. Unreal.
Northsideperson is correct. This is not a nation founded by Christians. Some of you could definitely use a history lesson.
One more point-just because Christians are the majority in the US does not mean we are a Christian nation. Lots of differing views on religion-and there is room for all of them.
USA1, I don't understand why you think she is interfering with others' liberties. She chose not to stand, she did not demand that no one say the pledge.
Abortion clinic in Valley closes
Ok people, it's really pretty simple:
1. There is no god or hell or satan, so no worries to those who have had abortions.
2. If you are against abortion, then don't have one. See, problem solved.
3. USA1 and Stan are obviously trolls. Because I refuse to believe I share a planet with such ignorant human beings.
Have a nice night everyone!

The reason for the season
Cambridge and Leaveusalone, I admire your efforts. But you can't open a closed mind.
You know the worst part about being an atheist? We will never have the opportunity to say "I told you so".

We’re helping the enemy
Again people-our soldiers fought and died for our right to stand up or NOTstand up.
As for you judgmental Christians-you make me proud to call myself an atheist.

Stand up or leave

Stop looking for persecution where there is none.

Pickets win, all others lose
At least the only people who lost their jobs were the picketers!
