Please define "announced crowd." There is no way that 12,493 people were at the game. Is this something YSU has to do to stay in their conference? Or, is this counting the season tickerts solds PLUS the huindreds of tickets given away (to my company included) that were not used; or are we counting the cars traveling along Fifth Avenue and on 680 during the game? Glad for the seniors that YSU won!!
A very informative article. Now... how about telling us how much the PHSAA directors are paid?... How about the t-shirt selling monoply? Or, meetings and meal allowances for OHSAA directors? The salaries paid are way out of line, by the way.
I don't know about Heacock going or what Strollo will do...but being a local educator...I do know local athletes ARE recruited. The problem, is---the local athletes want to go somewhere else...maybe to a bigger school; or away from home..or to be on TV...or to play in the MAC...or whatever. But, to say YSU is not recruiting local kids is WRONG!
...We accepted that the use of a publicist would mean that sharing Fletcher’s life in writing would be assisted, and that it wouldn’t be purely his words...IF this was told to the readers when the column first appeared...great. If not, the Vindicator is as guilty as the others involved. I did read all of 'Fletcher's columns' but if he returns to write another one, I will not read a word.
To read and listen to Miller and Gallito, you would think they are true public servants who watch over the public's money!! In reality, they have lied, mis spent, threathened employees, found new ways to spin the budget mess and continue to take the township on a downward spiral and further embarrassment. It's time for a change...and when Moliterno is up for reelection...vote him out as well!

Congratulations Penguins!!
What an exciting game...and no one can broadcast the game like Bob Hannon and Dick Hartzell. They are the best!!

I said long ago that Kelly would not fight Williams. He will out box Espino...BUT, if the hand bothers Kelly even a little, another postponement!

Well done YSU!! Those who served will be remembered forever with this dedication!

It's Williams...not Wiliams...and it's wrong both in the printed Vindicator and here.
