SNAP sends letter to Youngstown bishop

Quoted by diocese officials: “The diocese is not aware of any person working in any diocesan organization, who has been credibly accused of abuse, and for anyone to say otherwise is untrue,” ---

--- OK, then there should be no reason for Bishop Murry not to engage in a town hall meeting with the public.

It takes a ton of courage to come forward and take action about being sexually abused. This is not an easy thing to do, but it is extremely rare that a child predator has only one victim. Some have many. So let's hope that anyone, who may have knowledge or may have been harmed by anyone in the Youngstown diocese, will find the courage to come forward, get help, and contact law enforcement and/or the Mahoning country prosecutor, not the church officials. They are not the proper officials to be investigating child sex crimes..
It is never too late to report your abuse because your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting others.

Former deacon, Mooney and St. Christine teacher stripped of teaching license

Let's hope that anyone who may have knowledge or may have been harmed by deacon/teacher Ernest Formichelli, will find the courage to come forward, get help, and contact law enforcement or the county prosecutor, no matter how long ago it happened.

It's extremely rare that a child predator has only one victim. Some have many. Child predators need to be kept far away from kids forever.

Former deacon, teacher in Mahoning County loses teaching license

Quoted: "The charter does not apply to any action that occurred prior to ordination, the news release stated. It continued, “When the diocese receives an allegation about a lay person, it is reported to the civil authorities and the person is placed on administrative leave until the result of the civil investigation is known. If the allegation is proved true or credible, the person is dismissed.”---

In other words, the allegations were proved to be true and credible, Why did Bishop Murry not make this public so that parents could protect their children?
