If the election were held today, who would you vote for president?

Barack Obama is not using taxpayers dollars to run his campaign. Transparency is important. Philosophicaly Barack Obama has the right attitude in this election. He is keeping his feet firmly on the ground despite huge crowds across the country. Americans are hungry for a leader to guide us through the current crisis at home and abroad. His policies are second to none after any careful examination. John McCain doesn't want to talk about the economy. Barack Obama has demonstrated sound judgement throughout his entire political career. Barack Obama will carryout the promises he made in this campaign. Please support and vote for Obama we cannot afford 4 more years of record deficitis.

campaigning in ohio By the numbers

After decades of broken politics in Washington, eight years of failed policies from George Bush, and twenty--one months of a campaign that has taken us from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunshine of California, we are one week away from change in America.

In one week, you can turn the page on policies that have put the greed and irresponsibility of Wall Street before the hard work and sacrifice of folks on Main Street.

In one week, you can choose policies that invest in our middle--class, create new jobs, and grow this economy from the bottom--up so that everyone has a chance to succeed; from the CEO to the secretary and the janitor; from the factory owner to the men and women who work on its floor.

In one week, you can put an end to the politics that would divide a nation just to win an election; that tries to pit region against region, city against town, Republican against Democrat; that asks us to fear at a time when we need hope.

In one week, at this defining moment in history, you can give this country the change we need.

We began this journey in the depths of winter nearly two years ago, on the steps of the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Illinois. Back then, we didn't have much money or many endorsements. We weren't given much of a chance by the polls or the pundits, and we knew how steep our climb would be.

Obama is the better choice for troubled times ahead

The recent Endorsement by the Vindy editors hit the nail on the head. The choice is now clear because Barack Obama understands this election is not about him it is about everyone coming together to solve the issues. Republicans, Independents and Democrats are going to have to work together to fix the mess created by eight years of the Bush Cheney policies that have bankrupted the country. It comes down to the simple fact that we cannot afford four more years a Republicans in the Whitehouse. Main stream media never reported that GWB is doing private fund raisers for John McCain.

The choice of the Vice Presidents is very indicative of the differences between McCain and Obama. Obama chose some who will help him lead and govern. The first question many even Republicans asked who is Sarah Palin? Now they are asking why?
