Linda, AHHHH I mean smurf, not that I’m engaging in your rhetoric, But I suggest that you quit pontificating from your chair and quit spewing lies about my family and the schools, I don’t care what you say about me, That’s why I have no problem letting everyone know who I am. I do care what is said about my family. First, let’s set the record straight, both my daughters went to school in canfield from elementary through high school and are both successful. Second I have lived in Canfield from the time I received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, 1988 to be exact. I suggest to all the people reading about canfield schools that you fully understand the opposition, the opposition who doesn’t have the spine to actually give a real name and does nothing but find ways to manipulate the readers, NO INTEGRITY THERE.
Walter, I assume you won’t be happy until the teachers are making minimum wage, no pensions, and using Obama care for their health insurance, give me a break. Walter Is that your real name? Do you live in Canfield? I sense you are a very unhappy person and in return you want everyone else to be miserable. I want an excellent school system, not average or mediocre. It cost money to have the best teachers for the students. Every year Canfield schools receive excellent ratings. Do you think it’s by accident? I think not, it’s because the teachers care and they are very good at what they do. So, I am willing to sacrifice on behalf of my kids, thats why I choose to live in Canfield.
It amazes me the amount of people trashing the school district, administration and teachers. Where were all of you during the town hall meetings and the meetings at the high school? Your input would have been note worthy. Instead of being so negative why don’t you come up with solutions, you seem to have all the answers. If our school system fails then our home values will depreciate. Open enrollment is next, is that what you want? Don’t be part of the problem be part of the solution, all I hear is lip service, do something about it, it’s our community. Finally, don’t fear your own words, if you believe in what you say then put your name to it.

All the anger that you have does nothing but divide us, once again I see division between republicans and democrats. We are a community first.
dawgalong, I'm pretty sure that evan maitenance people and janitors get lunch breaks and a couple 10 minute breaks on their shifts. It's people like you that are trying to destroy the reputation of the school system. Be part of the solution and not the problem.
