Airport could lose controllers

I was a controller for 32 years at Phoenix Tower in AZ. We had our own TRACON. At one point the FAA. thought about moving it to Albuqueque Air Route Center,but decided against it. They did consolidate TRACONS in southernCalifornia and it seems to work well. The only problem I can see is moving families to a unfamilliar area and having to adjust to a new environment.

This guy should have gone down years ago.Finally some closure for the victims family.

iWAS RAISED ON THE SOUTH SIDE IN THE 50S AND 60S AND NEVER HAD TO WORRY ABOUT CRIME OTHER THAN THE PRANKS WE PULLED AS KIDS.wHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE TOWN i CALLED HOME FOR 18 YEARS BEFORE GOING INTO THE AIR FORCE? IT USED TO BE PEOPLE WATCHED OUT FOR AND TOOK CARE OF EACH OTHER. I STILL HAVE FAMILY THERE AND VISIT AS OFTEN AS I CAN AND AM PROUD TO BE FROM THAT HARDSCAPPLE STEEL TOWN OF YESTERDAY BUT AM VERY SAD TO SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO IT.
