This state knows how bad our country needs a change perhaps more than most others. I can't tell you how many folks I know here who have lost their jobs.
I am a 23 year old who does NOT want to see Hillary Clinton win. I just can't fathom having most of my life being run by the same people. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton? No thanks. Let's get rid of the liars and vote for someone who actually tells us the truth, not what we want to hear.
Read Obama's books, he admits to mistakes he made in his past and tells how he has learned from them. What do the others do? Lie through their teeth, sorry to say, even Bill. "I did not inhale," wow! Once again, why vote for people who just tell you what you want to hear as opposed to the truth.
Besides, he actually has promise of uniting the country. Getting past party lines (which Hillary cannot do because the right is too polarized by her) and also moving past hundreds of years of race issues.
What everyone needs to remember is that he is both Black AND white.
Instead of more of the same, vote for change. Obama '08!
It is good to hear the Chevy Center is finally making profits.
I am a filmmaker in LA, originally from Youngstown with a proposal to the city to shoot a feature film there (Chevy Center especially) and split profits on the film & DVD.
This Production would be would be an entire Youngstown crew, & NE Ohio actors including Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini & Ed O'Neill.
Ray has read our script and has signed a written letter of intent to the project. He would be Producing along with myself. We've also got funding through committed product placement right now too.
A production like this also supports the local economy during filming. Look at Ray's 2001 film "Turn of Faith" http://imdb.com/title/tt0250790/
I just read that the city is meeting January 28th to accept an OUTSIDE management firm.
I would like to speak with someone from the city before that as SOON AS POSSIBLE!
If we can come to an agreement with the city to shoot The Caged there and Co-Produce it, we can have this movie filmed in the next two months and let it earn residual payments for years to come through cable, Video On Demand & DVD distribution.
The bottom line is, it won't cost the city anything but it can gain a lot.
If anyone can put me in contact with Kyle Miasek or someone with the city that can help please contact me.
