It's BOTH parties fault. Boehner and the Repubs need to raise taxes on those making over $250k annually, but Obama and the Dems need to come forth with some across the baord spending cuts. A 5th grader could figure this out, but unfortunately everyone in Washington is acting like a 5th grader.
They closed all the mental hospitals in this country over twenty years ago. Now, they give them a bunch of meds, send them out the door and google maps directions to the nearest gun show.
That being said, the 2nd Amendment was NOT written with assault weapons in mind.
The GUN loving Tea Party now wants to put off duty Police Officers in all our schools. I figure that will cost us an additional $58+ BILLION dollars a year. ($35 per/hr per officer when you add their rate + liability insurance x 7 hours a day x 180 school days x 132,656 schools) Don't they stand for smaller government and less taxes? I guess the NRA will pay it. LOL.
Teachers being armed against an assailant wearing body armour and carrying a .223 military assault weapon, would merely add to the body count.
They need to completely ban all assault weapons and make gun owners undergo rigorous training and education (like Police officers) before purchasing a handgun.

ricking is ALMOST correct. You do NOT have to submit to a breathalyzer, but you then lose tour license for a minimum of one year. So yes, you DO have to take the breathalyzer or face the penalty, but you CAN refuse the field sobriety tests without any consequences!! Now Ricky, get off Santa's lap, you've been sitting there too long!
Get the FACTS. No one has to submit to any field sobriety tests, even if they're operating a motor vehicle. You MUST submit to a breathalizer if you are asked by a law enforcement officer if he stops you when you're DRIVING, which Ryan was NOT. The House Ethics Committee is made up of 5 Democrats and 5 republicans and is Chaired by a Republican. Now go get a tissue and cry.
