People like to criticize Tressels fallout at Ohio State but never talk about the reason why. At the end of the day Tressel was loyal to his players and commitmented to the program. He was willing to stick his neck out and fall on the sword to protect his players. Those kind of actions are respectable in my book. We as a region need to get over this idea that it's acceptable for talent to leave this area or even attract it. It would be a disservice to this community to allow talent like Tressel to stay or even advance at Akron. You want to talk academia, the pro vost runs the academics at the university

I wouldnt let his ass back in this time zone. I cant believe how SOFT the trustees are. But this is what you get when you have a bad hire. Was never impressed with this hire and not surprised how it ended up. This clown is going to speak at my commencement this spring, unbelievable. What a disrespect to me and my family and my classmates and their families and this community if he is at commencement!

It's also worth a mention that President Dunn did not appear at scheduled appearances on campus today for YSU Crash Day, when high school seniors visit the university.

This is a blessing in disguise folks. President Dunn is not very good at what he does. If he does leave it's not a loss to the university, more of an embarrassment. He lacks leadership, vision and talks a lot of talk. I say either way this shakes out the university should rip his contract up out of disrespect to the community, faculty and students of this university for his lack of communication and deception on this topic.

As terrible as this possible move is, and might I mention very unChrist like of Mooney, they will never be able to raise that kind of money. They might as well use the money they have already raised to renovate the existing building. If they do succeed I better not see the phrase "tradition" or "Youngstown" affiliated with the new school.

its foolish to believe that this will hurt the chances of the expansion project. Boils down to a simple business decision. Why pay unnecessary transportation costs to thread a finished product just to stick it to a community? The reason the location of the expansion is less the a mile away from the mill.
