ANTIY'TOWN-those days are gone, just like the horse and buggy.
Grisdale now looks like an even bigger fool, if that's possible, with the Norwalk Truckers winning the D2 state championship today.
Also, Norwalk is an open enrollment district.

Poland plays with "who they get" by choice. they could get more, maybe better players if they want by choosing OPEN ENROLLMENT. MANY public schools have chosen this because it's the 21st century. Get with the times and out of your isolated cocoon. You are there by your own choice. What a bunch of crybabies.

Here's another challenge to Ken Grisdale -Come into the city and coach an urban team and not some preppy suburban team. You couldn't handle it!

I feel sorry for the Poland kids too. They are being given excuses by an adult who should know better. Are the Poland kids going to go through life making excuses and saying "It's not fair."?
Grisdale is a FOOL!! Every player he is crying about lives in the city of Akron. Families are allowed to move from place to place. American families do it all the time. Don't families move to Poland? With the attitudes expressed here, Why would they want to?
I really feel sorry for the young people of Poland. They're being raised with an "entitlement" attitude. Because they are a public school they are entitled to win championships.
Grisdale goes onto say his team is the public school state champion. Is he so small minded that Norwalk and Dayton Thurgood Marshall, who will be playing in Columbus, don't count? The Poland kids may have lost the game yesterday, but Grisdale is the LOSER.
