Costello is a pompous jerk. Brad Calhoun is a plus for the township. Thank goodness we are rid of Gallitto and Miller. They were in control for too long. Our township's reputation and desirability took a real hit during their tenure.
No way this is going to cut it with concerned taxpayers. Our confidence is shot when it comes to the park commissioners and the probate judge. This is Belinky's reaction to a horrendous course of action by the three board members? Come on!!!!
The damage to the park's status in our community is still increasing. What does Judge Belinky have to watch happen before he gets this. NOW is the time to replace the entire board. They are trying to cover their butts not protect our incredible park system. Political appointments are tricky at best. The park commissioners should be elected!
Only Judge Belinky can rectify this train wreck. Get rid of these polarizing commissioners who hired this loser in the first place. That was the BIG mistake. We need a director who has the respect of the community at large, not an outsider with a huge ego who demands an unprecedented pay package. How much time and money have been lost we will never actually know. The legacy of the park must be protected. Judge Belinky are you going to allow the next park levy to fail on your watch????
Oh yeah, regarding Dailey's comment about how lucky she was to find this guy to hire--wasn't he fired from his last job too? It was the same deal, differences in philosophy. Or to put it in plain English: Imbrogno plans and plans but gets nothing done. Once boards figure this out, he is toast. Now he gets to take Mahoning tax dollars away with him out of state. He is laughing at the stupid park board all the way to the bank! Please fix things Judge Belinky.
It is sad how the park is being tainted by a woman who's arrogance and lack of pragmatic thinking skills is legendary. The president of the board has been there way too long and needs to go away. Hopefully Judge Belinky has the brains to figure this out. I hear that Dailey has been bragging about sweet talking Belinky to keep her spot. It seems like Belinky's only appointment to the board so far cares about the park. The other two were appointed by that nutcase Maloney and none of them care, they just like power. Belinky can rectify things if he moves quickly. It would be a horrible injustice if the future tax levy fails because of the losers Maloney appointed to the park board.
Imbrogno was fired for not doing anything and in general ticking everyone off. Not too many fans except for Virginia Dailey. The guy hardly showed up for work and now he wants taxpayer money in the form of a severance package to take back to Kentucky with him.
Mr. Imbrogno was terminated by the board. No secret here. Difficult to deal with, he was in no hurry to do any work that would be useful for the public. His large salary and benefits were a big waste of taxpayers dollars. Who appoints this out of touch board anyway?
