I see no "hypocrisy" regarding Vitter, Craig, or Gingrich. Conservatives have demanded the resignation of all three from the minute their scandals were made public. Gingrich eventually resigned, Craig was voted out by his disgusted constituents, and Vitter only got reelected in 2010 due to the sheer incompetence of his opponent. If there ware any true conservatives out there who were actually defending these guys I must have missed it.
On the other hand, there were plenty of liberals who sprang into action vociferously defending Weiner (and before him Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, Sandy Berger, Bob Torricelli, Gary Condit, Eliot Spitzer, etc, etc.) the minute his obscene photos were posted to the internet. They claimed his Twitter account was somehow "hacked." The news media predictably fell into lock-step and even reported Weiner's multitudinous lies as if they were fact. If there's any hypocrisy in this whole sordid story it's on the Democrats and their willing accomplices in the news media.
If you compare the coverage from the news media in 2008 and 2011 it becomes obvious that what is an "acceptable" price is determined solely by the political party currently occupying the White House.
Too bad TBR is a "start and park" operation. A talent like Blaney is wasted with these guys. And $66 grand for 30+ laps? Man, I'm in the wrong business...
Traficant was the only Democrat in memory to actually stand up against the entrenched leadership of his own morally bankrupt party. And boy, did they make him pay for his disloyalty...

Rep. Weiner’s resignation best thing for the country

What's an acceptable price for a gallon of gas?
