After I saw this on the news all I could think about was 'two dogs were left', had to back up my DVR to make sure I heard it correctly...they left 2 dogs in that condition, knowing the whole neighborhood is watching them????? I said outloud, 'there's no way the dogs will still be there tomorrow'. Those dogs, along with so many are suffering as I type. I pray the authorities get this underworld scum in time for Christmas. My own Christmas wish.
I can only hope that out of this tragedy, new policies and procedures will be put into place concerning k-9 officers. To leave a dog unattended for 3 hours and 45 minutes in a car, is incredible. I can't believe that this is part of a policy. This is a living breathing trained Police officer.
I would like to see all salaries/benefits of the Library system, WRTA, and the Metroparks so all things can be examined equally. Can we please have this posted for all to see, I hope they are not off limits for any reason. Reporting should be fair, not selective.

FYI: the removal of pitties from the vicious dog law is in fact in place. BSL doesn't work and it's been proven over and over again.
Ironically, Ohio can remove pit bull type dogs from the vicious dog law yet animal cruelty in this state remains archaic.
Also, Terry you are one run on sentence and your lack of common sense baffles me.
Please Ohio do better, be a leader - not stuck in the dark ages. Nitros law is just the beginning.
