I haven't heard anything in recent months as to how this situation is being handled. If you have further information, please reply to my comment... TyOn a separate note, the prosecutor of this case was also the JJC prosecutor, whom was in charge of the case of a Canfield juvenile, whom while intoxicated and driving recklessly, killed my 17 year old Son, Kevin.During the defendants trial she sat firmly AND UNFORTUNATELY, SILENTLY, in her chair at the prosecution' stable throughout the entire sentencing portion. She said nothing. She added no comments in regard to sentencing. She DID NOT OBJECT, when the VISITING, APPOINTED, RETIRED, Judge denied me to read my victims statement as I was told to prepare and bring to court during the sentencing trial... When the Judge asked her if she had anything to add before sentencing, SHE REPLIED, "No Your Honor"... The Judges stare of astonishment was noted by all! After the defendant was sentenced to a mere 6 months of probation, for ending my sons life, myself, my Mother and the prosecutor entered a room, where she did NOT offer condolences or explain her lack of why she did NOT do her job. To add injury to insult, she made this statement to myself, my Mother and 2 other JJC employees... " Well, you know everyone drives drunk." " I've done it". I was still in state of shock over the sentencing outcome when she made these statements. I composed myself long enough to reply... How many of us in this room have killed someone in the process? She shot me a glare and immediately exited the room. She, her attitude, cruel comments and lack of doing her job were reported to Paul Gains. As I was told, she called a friend, an Attorney and was dismayed that she had been reported. To this date, a year + later, she has received NO PUNISHMENT. It appears that this other case occurred after her lack of performance of doing her job in the case of the defendant. Was she at this point, going to the total opposite degree of doing her job? I remain mystified by her actions, or lack there of, I should say. I hope this family does see the wheels of justice carried out in only positive ways. Stories, incidents, facts NEED TO BE SHARED. These officials MUST BE SANCTIONED AND HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Additionally, the judge of Mahoning county JJC refused to have my sons case heard by a Mahoning county JJC judge. The head honcho called in a retired judge from another county to hear and decide sentencing? Why you ask? Not to ruffle anyone's feathers in the Canfield Community!!! Judges right at JJC had no affiliations with either family and COULD HAVE HEARD THE CASE. Now I see she is having her own problems with the law... I wish for her the same, fair treatment I had ASSumed my Son's case would receive BUT DID NOT. My faith in the judicial system, police dept's and media networks in NIL!!! Please, before you vote... RESEARCH ALL CANDIDATES!!! TyMother of Victim

If you are a parent...YOU LIVE IN A GLASS HOUSE. This is especially so if you agree with the statement that Judge Dellick made, " The smartest kids do the dumbest things in certain situations."
I am not too old to remember partaking in a few "dumb" situations as a young adult. Is there really anyone out there who can THRUTHFULLY say that THEY HAVE NEVER made a poor decison? I guess the only exception would be if GOD, himself were reading this comment!
Life is a long journey of lessons. Instead of judging or taking a stance, let us ALL, including the youths in this situation, learn from their prospective decisions.
And "if" you are a parent reading this, please be intelligent enough to NEVER, utter the word NEVER, in regard to your own child/children's decisions!
You NEVER know what the future has in store for them or yourself/selves.

Last evening one of the home owners / sellers was standing outside the Hine St. location directing past buyers to the newest location. I know this to be a fact because a person who made a purchase last evening relayed this information to me. I applaud the law enforcment agents for using the information provided to them to shut it down. But as it was told to me by the authorities, they expected they would be up and selling within the same day. You may be asking how I am privy to this information. The answer is simple. Myself and my children are victims of a user who frequents this house and now a new location. My deepest gratitude to all concerned for doing their jobs. Unfortunately my battle for the return of a normal life is still ongoing.
