The comment "the Board of Education!Webb is a failure because the Board let her be a failure" could be said about any board. Look at Forum and there are several non-profit boards that have made the news along with other schools and local governments. Boards of Directors are always willing to pass off their responsibiilty to a paid staffer without any accountability or expectation of what they are suppose to accomplish.
Update us if there is any response to this unbelievable situation. Small businesses work hard enough but to be cut off at the knees by your own government is difficult to swallow.
Absolutely right. Small business owners go without a paycheck to take care of employees but when there is no hope in sight they will be forced to close.
And then the taxpayers bailed them out. These are the same banks that cannot handle the administration of loan modifications, short sales, or even provide competent staff to answer the calls from homeowners desperate to save their homes. With President Obama the answer is simple - just print more money and have another party at the White House.
Notice how this effort is being done for the PUBLIC workers. What happened to the normal tax paying citizen that lost money in their 401K or company pension?
Boardman's new trustees have to get their information from the clerk. It is not difficult to read between the lines that the trustees have to have reliable accounting to make decisions and that has been the failure in Boardman. Why else would the fire department have tried to get an outside accounting firm to help get the facts?
