Dave I think you and Aimee have done a great job with your kennel and training. I suggest that rex take a tour of the local dogs pound and see what conditions look like there. If for the dogs would not have stepped up to save my dog from that place he would have been killed. He is a pit bull and for the dogs believed he deserved a chance. I am so thankful that they did. I will adopt from them again. Maybe you could offer support to the resuce. They are all volunteers and im sure can always use help. They are saving dogs from bad situations and the steve croleys of the world.
I hope the judgment is that he can NEVER own another animal. I have adopted a dog from aim highs rescue and the dogs have acces to indoor and outdoor runs. They are in the process of remodeling their kennel so maybe that's where Rex got his idea from. All the dogs there were allowed out of their runs to play several times per day. The new owners are great. I think that turning this place of horror into a place that helps mahoning pound dog that would have otherwise been killed is great. Turning something bad to something good.
