Should same-sex marriages be legalized in all 50 states?

The American Medical Association, The American Psychiatric Association, The American Psychological Association, The American Psychoanalytical Association, The American Academy of Pediatrics, and The National Association of Social Workers all agree that sexual orientation is not a choice and that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. But what do they know, right?

Since homosexuality is clearly not something that people can simply choose, there is no reason to not grant them state marriages. Churches don't have to sanction a marriage if they don't want to, but as long as the government is giving benefits to married couples, there is no reason for them to deny all the benefits to same-sex couples that heterosexual couples enjoy.
