Trapp is the better choice for Ohio Supreme Court. The way I see it, Lanzinger's ruling which created executive privilege for former gov. Taft only served to protect her former campaign manager, convicted coin dealer Tom Noe, from further "Coingate" trouble. What is equally troublesome is that Lanzinger continues to sit before cases brought to the court in which campaign donors have filed is very troubling. The New York Times cites Lanzinger rules in favor of her donors the majority of the time. Lanzinger says she will not recuse herself. Sure gives the public the impression that the current court is for sale.
Polivka only supports MEN to run for office? I guess that explains a lot about his belief 's. Maybe some believe Trumbull County needs a woman Commissioner.
I have been involved in politics since 1980, right around the time Lee Fisher emerged. I can tell you he has been building his donor list since then, and don't think for a minute people aren't feeling the pressure and intimidation from both Lee and his wife Peggy. Oh yes, Brunner supporters have been shut down and reminded the "good ole boys" network has the power. Why would Brunner give name names and throw her supporters to the wolves? As a Brunner supporter, I have felt the intimidation...they're makin' a list and checkin' it twice...
Congressman Ryan may have endorsed Fisher, but I am supporting Jennifer Brunner. I am convinced Brunner is the stronger candidate. Jennifer Brunner is committed and innovative and her leadership is needed. I am disappointed that Lee Fisher decided to "quit" his job as Chief Economic Development Officer", while at the same time, trying to convince me he will fight for economic development in Ohio if elected to the Senate. My slow and thoughtful decision to support Brunner leaves sure I made the right decision based on her qualifications, authenticty and actions.
O’Connor, Lanzinger endorsed
