Again I am curious to why we built a new BOE addition if this school needed so much repair, Why aren’t we taking care of our schools. My property taxes went up for 400 a year for no reason and we have to pay 1% income tax, Springfield isn't the only tax people pay. I m sure next year they will want a maint levy and a renewal on the 1% (they will probably try to make it permanent again) we only have maybe 1200 kids in the district, I personally can't afford more taxes.

The third contract in a row. The warden doesn't have contact with the inmates much. The officers have the burden of keeping the inmates controlled. The officers are at risk everyday they walk into a overcrowded prison. The officers are taking the staff cuts. The officers are the ones working in an unsafe job. Oh yeah the officers are the ones who protect us from the inmates. I would like to thank the officers I think you are worth every penny you make and YOU deserve more.

It says he is retired but not from what State. If he is from CA then of course his pension is higher, their cost of living is 4x as much as ours. The only PUBLIC empolyees that make that much are probably a school super.
We have given concessions for the past 5+ years. We do pay 15%+ towards our medical. We do pay 10%+ towards our retirement. We also pay taxes. We don't get 60K for working 1 day a week Mr. Johnson. We put our lives on the line.
