What????? I don't understand your comment crblk. Are you saying YSU owns all courts/judges whether they're local or brought in from outside? And how do you explain the fact that the other two people indicted with him both plead guilty to the charges? Cruzer is right, seems kind of shady.

Is it really much different from last time around when the president at the time tried to slip in a big raise for himself by changing the pay grade for his job title or the arrangement to attempt to get a guaranteed promotion for the former president? Who can you trust if you can't trust the people you voted to be on the negotiating team?

It is good he chose to man up and accept responsibility for his actions. I wish him well.

I have to agree with pol26, People can appear "nice" when that's what they want you to see. Other times, they show another side that is not nice, rude, threatening, intmidating and downright mean, cruel remarks. It's a shame. Let's hope things can change.

censoredship,I agree with you on this one and will be contacting Dr. DeBlasio. YSU's disregard for preserving these historic buildings makes me sick to my stomach. They will probably bulldoze them over the Christmas break prior to the start of winter semester just like they did a few years back to the historic buildings that used to house the YSU police department. Disgusting.

@dancinmosesThe Bartender is the one who is mean spirited and jealous and is picking on the "little guy", namely all the ACE employees in IT. They are just employees trying to ear a very decent wage. Why can't he be happy and let them be? Could it be that HonestAbe is on the right track. These people all opposed the former union pres. Hmmmmm..........

Sounds to me like bartender has an ax to grind with almost everyone at YSU from administrators to ACE employees. Sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee. I agree they shouldn't do the retire/rehire thing but it is in the ACE agreement that they can come back.

Just saying, you're an outsider and not there to see what's going on. I guess you don't know but there are new people in power on both sides, new university pres, new human resource manager, new union pres. These people inherited a big mess from the last bunch and they are trying to sort it out and make things better.

Most of you say you are outsiders looking in. Don't believe everything you hear because you're not getting the whole picture. See there's good & bad on both sides. Union isn't all bad and administration isn't evil. Truth is there were greedy and self serving individuals on both sides and university is paying a heavy price for their unethical behavior. Good news is there are now good people on both sides who genuinely want to work together in an ethical way to actually make things better. Let's get behind them and help them succeed.
