Do we want an Austrailian tycoon telling us what to think. They slant the news the way he wants. I don't think the British realised just what went on with Murdoch and their last goverment. Its all coming out now but no mention on Fox News , I wonder why. If our dead veterans knew what has happened to this great country they would be turning in their graves.
Why have we no jobs in this country because the fat cat industrialists sent our jobs to China, Mexico and India where the basic wage is just enough to keep them alive. This is where our Industrialists make more money and more bonuses so they can buy their second home in the Hamptons, go Sking in Val D'esire, pay $1000 plus for seats at a dinner for Repulican and Democrat fund raisers to keep their options open. They call themselves Americans and patriots I don't think they are for America and certainly not patriots. Patriots support their own country they don't send our jobs overseas..
Just why is a so called Christian Country so blood thirsty. The sight of Americans cheering outside prisons on execution day makes me sick. The wholesale rejoicing on the death of Bin Laden is yet another symptom of the malaise which affects America. It was very convenient that Bin Laden died, a trial would have caused just too many problems, kidnappings, summary executions etc etc .The killing of Bin Laden was not Justice. Justice happens in a court of law not at the end of a rope or in this case the barrel of a gun. He was not the Devil.He was a hero to some Arabs he stood up to The Great Satan and alluded them for ten years. He was not particularly evil compared to some of the people our government has dealt with, Pol Pot comes to mind. I am afraid we have not heard the last of Bin Laden or his friends, it only takes just one lapse in security and America, Britain Canada, and whoever else better watch out there will be more atrocities. Bin Laden's death is not the end. I only wish it was.
The criminal Justice System is a shambles but no one seems to care. Prison is a farce, just a training school for when prisoners are released. The police snowed under with paperwork. I shouldn't have to own a gun but I have one. The Death Penalty seems to be no deterrent, cop a plea and we will call that murder manslaughter, it saves time and money, but Justice is not served.
How to mess up a country in Ten simple moves 1 Elect an incompetent American President 2. Mention Weapons of Mass Destruction and Democracy 3. Invade Country without a proper post war plan. 4. Give most of the reconstruction contracts to your friends and cronies 5. Sit back and watch it fall apart. 6. Leave country in a bigger mess than it was to start with. 7. Claim it was a huge success. 8 Elect new President 9. Find new country to invade. (Iran, North Korea) 10 Repeat steps 2 to 10
Lets have Ramadan,Hanukkah, Chinese New year, Diwali, Holi, Pongal, Dussehra, Gantan-sai, Timkat, Imbolc - Lughnassad and not forgetting the Birthday of L. Ron Hubbard that should about cover most religions on this planet. If we celebrate all the religions mentioned it should cut the working year down to two days then we would be so politically correct we wont offend anyone.
