Woody, it's obvious that you haven't been out there job hunting.
You haven't been out there going to businesses resumes in hand and being told that applications or resumes aren't being accepted.
Be glad you have a job.

I respected his talents and thought that he was sincere with his "loyalty" and "family"..... what a disappointment.
He'll never be MJ....lacks class.
Will be interesting to see how he handles playing on Wade's team and not being "King" anymore....

What is the status of St. Dominic's and St. Patrick's?

What are the "true"numbers? Keep in mind all the folks who have exhausted their unemployment are no longer counted. The classifieds are pathetic, I'm talking about the online ads and the print ads. In five weeks I'll no longer be counted as my benefits will be exhausted. I've walked into places who won't even take your resume or give you an application to complete.

YSUGRAD- you hit the nail on the head. The figures are not a true reading. Each week there are more and more who have exhausted their benefits. In five weeks I will be one of those folks. It's very discouraging, no jobs in the classifieds, and so many places who won't even take a resume or give you an application if you walk through the door. Just look at the number of foreclosure filings for Mahoning and Trumbull County that are in the paper.

I agree with Stan and Ytown-Strong, good to see that we haven't been forgotten. I hope someone from the Whte House reads Ytown's post and runs with the idea. We've been ignored far too long.

She should've been removed long ago for a poor job performance. How long has the district been under an academic watch? Change is long overdue.

Just some random thoughts on your thoughts:
1. Do you think the economy had anything to do with the attendance? Sure is hard for fans from an area where the unemployment rate is over 10% to travel to Atlantic city.
2. Covering Kelly has been a highlight for you but you won't be going to his next fight???? Sounds like you're writing Kelly off...."Fairweather Fan"
3. You say Martinez fought a perfect fight but Kelly was leading after eight rounds. How could that have been the perfect fight for Martinez?
Yes, I'm disappointed that Kelly lost, don't count him or his fans out.

IOKIYAR..I'm with you and the Judge on this one. There is a most definite lack of professionalism in today's society. Most workplaces have dress codes. It doesn't cost a fortune to get a dress shirt and tie.

This is absolutely insane, the Prosecutor's office agreed to a plea agreement? They agreed to let the Father get probation in spite of his previous problems with the law. The two of them tried to intimidate a witness and they get away with it? No wonder the Prosecution loses witnesses in other cases. Too bad it's not time to elect a new prosecutor. I certainly won't forget this the next time Gains is running again.
