Rebuilding The Mahoning River

I would like to plan a cleanup in the spring of 2012. I started looking for organizations during the summer. There are none. After contactng many people (Dan Mamula, Zacchary Svette, Trumbull Canoe Trails,etc.,etc.) I was not able to find any currently running organizations devoted to cleaning up the river in anyway. The organization Mr. Mamula is in charge of is only dealing with attracting businesses to the river area, as far as I could determine. As well as the mayor's organization. If you know of any organizations planning anything I would be glad to help out.

I would like to clean up a section of the river's surface area, removing trash, and clearing deadfalls. The hope being that more people will use it for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and such, and therefore there will be more people concerned with the river getting the funding to be completely cleaned.

If anyone is interested in helping out for an effort in the spring, please contact me at onbohio@gmail.com

I also have another idea for the river near packard park.

Wow, these people are really reaching. Are they seriously allowed to care to be around this child. Granny put away the vodka bottle and join AA

Bush to address nation at 9 p.m.

If that speech wasn't a ringing endorsement for voting for Obama, nothing is. He even admitted it wasn't such a great a idea to let a company grow so large it's downfall has such an effect on the whole economy. Hello who's fault is that.

Have people told you they will not vote for Obama because of his race?

If I see one more "Another Democrat for Mccain" sign I think I'll puke. Either they're lying about having been a Democrat or they are racist. Might as well have a burning cross in your front yard.

Democrats accuse locals of being racist toward Obama

As far as the issue of Jeriah Wright and the church. Who cares? What is he going to do once elected declare the country for African Americans only and kick us all out. [Says white male 41 yrs. old]

I hope he does get in there and piss some people off. I'm tired of government for the corporations by the corporations.

Pickets forced a good man to close his Hubbard store

Maybe, just maybe, the people stop shopping there because they had an alternative site that provided better service and prices.

Or, God forbid, they actually agreed with the pickets. Unions were created for a reason. If you honestly believe that companies can be trusted and unions are no longer needed, congratulations they, say ignorance is bliss.
