What does it matter what the guy said. Unless he makes a move to attack, you can't just start wailing on the guy. I usually agree cops have to put up with too much crap, but it looks like this one should be "probed" as the article headline states.
People should have to prove who they are to vote. But as we all know this is an effort by the Republicans to discourage voter turnout. In return people should also be able to vote online. There has to be a company with the ability to make online voting secure and valid. If not, offer up some free government money to the first one who can. The decisions made and people elected should be picked by every single eligible person in the country. There would never be another Republican elected.
Everyone should have the oppurtunity to drive. But if for some reason you do not have the skills to drive, you should not be on the road. No matter what the reason is. I think most would agree that as we grow older our driving skills decline. More so with some than others.
I was heading north on 422, right in front of Napa, when I saw the funnel start to form. It formed right over Family Video/Townsend. The guy in front of me in a small orange car figured it out before I did and swung a U-turn. I then realized why he was turning around and tried to do the same, almost smashing into his front end. Sorry dude if your reading this. I then proceeded to speed towards Youngstown. I saw debris spinning around in the funnel cloud in my rearview mirror. I had my kids in the car, my daughter was crying, one of my sons was visibly shaking. Scary stuff. We went all the way to Rayen, before deciding it was probably safe to head back. We get back into town, and hear the siren, so we went to my parents house to hang out in the basement. Guess that was the false alarm siren.
It is great to see people organizing around this issue. The incredible amount of money it will cost to dredge the river will have to be provided by the government. The last estimate by the Army Corps of Engineers puts it at $150 million. Therefore we need everyone possible backing this initiative. Get involved with a cleanup, attend the Riverfest, attend rallies to garner politicians attention. We have to let them know how important it is to us that this issue be resolved. The steel produced here helped build this nation, and defend her shores, we owe it to the river to repair the damage done.
Hi, I'm a member of Trumbull Canoe Trails and have been trying to get a hold of someone from your group. Please contact me at onbohio@gmail.com. I would like to attend one of your meetings.
I would like to plan a cleanup in the spring of 2012. I started looking for organizations during the summer. There are none. After contactng many people (Dan Mamula, Zacchary Svette, Trumbull Canoe Trails,etc.,etc.) I was not able to find any currently running organizations devoted to cleaning up the river in anyway. The organization Mr. Mamula is in charge of is only dealing with attracting businesses to the river area, as far as I could determine. As well as the mayor's organization. If you know of any organizations planning anything I would be glad to help out.
I would like to clean up a section of the river's surface area, removing trash, and clearing deadfalls. The hope being that more people will use it for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and such, and therefore there will be more people concerned with the river getting the funding to be completely cleaned.
If anyone is interested in helping out for an effort in the spring, please contact me at onbohio@gmail.com
I also have another idea for the river near packard park.
If that speech wasn't a ringing endorsement for voting for Obama, nothing is. He even admitted it wasn't such a great a idea to let a company grow so large it's downfall has such an effect on the whole economy. Hello who's fault is that.

Should people be required to show photo IDs for their votes to count?
