The "real issue" here is hypocrisy. As if a visit to a soup kitchen will somehow obscure the very real effects of the policies Ryan espouses.
I would respect him a lot more if he would just be up-front like Romney and come right out and say he doesn't give a damn about anyone but his rich cronies.
When two local elections board officials defied Husted's orders, he fired them.
But when Husted is handed a legal ruling from a judge ordering him to do something, he can defy that order...and that's OK?
He gets to tell that judge that things will run on HIS timetable (i.e., "I'll follow your order if it's upheld by the appellate court."), not the judge's? In what universe is this legal?
As a musician who's gigged in local night spots for 37 years, all I can say is "hallelujah!" I can't imagine going back to smoke-filled rooms that all but choke you to death.
Funny how all the dire predictions that this law would spell doom for the bar and restaurant business have failed to materialize.

Soup kitchen visit by Ryan stirs anger
The height of opportunistic sleaze.
I particularly loved campaign spokesman Christopher Baloney's vapid comment.
These people aren't even on the planet. How could any thinking, feeling person want to vote for these bozos?

Husted defies order on early voting
Am I missing something here?

How about if we fire Husted?
