Bert, You are partly correct about Robyn Gallitto, but mostly wrong. You are listening to the wrong people. The selections were decided weeks ago. Engler was Cafaro’s choice (dad & daughter) and they feared the press might make an issue of Engler’s past, so they needed two hacks to be there if Engler fell apart. Robyn was a threat; she is a party person, but independent of thought and won’t be dictated to by volatile leaders. She boldly brought an endorsement letter from Paul Gains (against the advice of most of her supporters, who know how party politics work) to make a stand and show herself to be an independent Democrat. She should be uplifted and applauded for her courage.
Robyn Gallitto's political tin ear
Bert,
You are partly correct about Robyn Gallitto, but mostly wrong. You are listening to the wrong people. The selections were decided weeks ago. Robyn was a threat; she is a party person, but independent of thought and won’t be dictated to by volatile leaders. She should be uplifted and applauded for her courage.
She is our Democratic party’s future.
